conmeet: A 49-Second Explainer for Construction Software

Short answer: vpixai made a 49-second explainer for conmeet, an all-in-one ERP for trades and construction firms. It opens on the paperwork problem, then shows four product moments: quotes built from tender files, one crew planning board, AI-read supplier documents and a demo call to action. A video like this costs $200 with vpixai, the flat price for any video up to 60 seconds, and takes 4 days.

This is one of the explainer videos we've made for B2B software teams. Below: who conmeet is, what an explainer for a broad platform has to do, how this one is structured, and what a similar video would cost you. See the rest of our client videos for other formats.

Who is conmeet?

conmeet GmbH makes conmeet, which it describes as an all-in-one ERP for trades and construction companies. On its website it lists sales, calculation, project management, scheduling, purchasing, invoicing and controlling in one system, built in Germany and hosted in German data centers.

What does an explainer for a whole platform have to do?

An ERP does dozens of things. A 49-second explainer can show maybe four. The job is to pick the moments that make a busy owner of a trades firm think "that's my week," and to leave the rest for the demo call. That breaks down into three tasks:

  • Start with the buyer's day, not the software. The video's premise is that the hard part for a trades firm is the office side, not the work on site: quotes, file versions, schedules, supplier paperwork.
  • Show one concrete win per feature. Each product scene answers a single question, with a single interface, in a few seconds.
  • Keep it credible. Real-looking documents, line items and planning boards say more to this audience than abstract icons.

How did we structure the explainer?

The video moves from problem to product in clear steps, each with a short headline and a matching caption:

  1. The problem. A tradesman in a plant room, surrounded by message bubbles asking where a delivery note is, which spreadsheet is current and who is on site tomorrow. Headline: "They fail at the paperwork."
  2. The mess. An office worker at her desk while file names like "FINAL_2" and "v2??" scatter across the screen. Headline: "Five tools. Zero overview."
  3. Quotes. A priced quote for a heating and plumbing job builds itself from a GAEB tender file, with time-to-quote shown against the manual alternative. Headline: "Quotes in minutes, not hours."
  4. Planning. A weekly board with every crew and job on one screen. Headline: "One board."
  5. Documents. A phone photographs a supplier delivery note, and the details appear ready to approve and match to the right job. Headline: "Read by AI."
  6. Proof and close. A customer-results scene, then an end card with the conmeet logo, its line "Master complexity. With system.", a "Book a free demo" button and the web address.

Three choices shape the piece. The photographic scenes keep the audience on screen: tradespeople, plant rooms, building sites. The product never appears as a full screenshot; each feature gets one simplified card with real-looking line items, euro prices and crew names, so it reads at a glance. And a lime-green accent ties headlines, buttons and highlights back to the conmeet brand, while captions under every scene make the video work with the sound off.
