What is AI video production?

AI video production means using AI tools inside the production process to draft scripts, generate visuals and create voiceovers faster than a team could by hand. It can mean a software tool you operate yourself, or a studio that uses AI and delivers a finished video. vpixai is the second kind: you send a brief, and our team returns a finished, on-brand video, usually 60 seconds and up to 2 minutes. The same process covers explainer videos, product demos and LinkedIn and YouTube ads.

Why use AI at all? Because the slowest parts of a traditional production are drafting scripts, building every frame by hand and recording voiceover. AI shortens those steps from weeks to days. That is what lets us deliver in 4 days for $200 instead of the 3 to 6 weeks and $2,000 to $10,000 a typical agency quotes. The time saved goes into the parts AI is bad at: deciding what to say, judging what looks right, and checking the details.

Where exactly is AI used, and where do people step in?

AI does the drafting and generating. People make the decisions, do the editing and sign off. Here is each step of the 4-day process.

How is this different from DIY AI avatar tools?

AI avatar tools are self-serve software: you type a script and a digital presenter reads it to camera. They are useful, and for some jobs they are the right choice. The difference is who does the work.

If you have the time and skills to write, edit and review every video yourself, a tool may cost less per month. If you want a finished video without becoming a video editor, a done-for-you studio is the better fit. How does vpixai control quality on AI video?

Every video is checked by our team before you see it. That is the rule that makes AI output usable for a customer-facing video. AI is fast at producing options; it is not reliable at knowing which option is right for your brand and your buyer. People make that call at three points:

  1. Before production: you approve the script and storyboard, so nothing is animated until the message is right.
  2. During production: designers and editors choose, edit and combine the AI-generated visuals and voiceover, and apply your logo, colors and branding.
  3. Before delivery: the team reviews the full video before it reaches you, and one revision round is included after you see it.

You can judge the result yourself: our client videos for BambooHR, conmeet, FAZE Security and others were all made this way. To learn who is behind the work, see about vpixai.

What are the honest limits of AI video?

We make animated and AI-assisted videos in every style: 2D motion graphics, whiteboard animation, character animation with lip-sync, 3D animation and product renders built in Blender, product UI, kinetic typography and AI cinematic footage, up to 2 minutes and longer on request. There are three things we do not do:

  • No live-action filming. No camera crews, actors or on-location shoots at your office, factory floor or events, and no filmed interviews. If you have footage, we can edit it into your video.
  • No media buying or campaign management. We make the ad videos; we don't plan, buy, run or optimise the ad spend.
  • No human voice actors. Voiceover is AI only, with no booked voice talent or celebrity voices.

Choose an agency if you need a live-action shoot, a human voice actor, or a partner to run and buy media for the whole campaign.

How much does AI video production cost at vpixai?

$200 for up to 60 seconds, $400 for up to 2 minutes, delivered in 4 days. You pay after delivery. The price is the same for every style, with no hourly billing, hidden fees or retainer. It includes the script, AI-assisted visuals and animation, AI voiceover, your branding, music, captions, one revision round and an HD MP4. You pay $0 upfront. Typical agencies charge $2,000 to $10,000 for 60 seconds and take 3 to 6 weeks. See full pricing for 60-second and 2-minute AI videos.

AI video production FAQ

Is the whole video made by AI?

No. AI speeds up scripting, visual generation and voiceover. Our writers, designers and editors handle creative direction, editing and quality control, and every video is checked by the team before you see it.

Will an AI explainer video look generic?

It should not. You approve the script and storyboard first, designers and editors apply your logo, colors and branding, and the team reviews the full video before delivery. One revision round is included.

Is the voiceover AI-generated?

Yes. Every video includes a professional AI voiceover that reads your approved script. Voiceover is AI only: we do not book human voice actors or celebrity voices. You can request changes to the voiceover in the included revision round.

How is vpixai different from an AI avatar tool?

An AI avatar tool is software you operate yourself: you write the script, edit and check the video. vpixai is a done-for-you studio. Our team writes, produces and checks an animated video for $200 up to 60 seconds or $400 up to 2 minutes, and delivers it in 4 days.

Can AI video replace a live-action shoot?

Not always. vpixai does not film people or locations, but if you already have footage, we can edit it into your video. For new filmed testimonials, on-site footage or real people on camera, a traditional production company is the better choice.

How long does AI video production take?

4 days from brief to final video at vpixai. Script and storyboard on days 1 to 2, animation and production on days 2 to 4, delivery on day 4.
